My ARC-XT-PRO 1.4 build 5 won't load lockouts into my BCD996XT properly.

I have set them ALL up and deleted ALL and loaded ALL many times. Then close ARC-XT-PRO and reopen fresh, download ALL and the lockouts are not locked.

Am I doing something wrong? or is this a bug?
BTW been using ARC246 w my BC246T for years w/no problem.
Freescan uploads these settings but they are selected in another level.

Is this a 996 newby question??? Or am I just dealing with a load 5 issue?

Hey Gomert, I love ARC.....is this something you know about?

BTW: this is not a bash ARC thread. ARC gps functionality is surperb! Freescan does not impress me at all on that front, to labor intensive. Personal opinion.

I need more details, you say you loaded them many times, do they show up in the scanner?

When you start the sofwtare and hit the blue read button , what do you see in the lo editor?

Here ya go Gommert,
Thanks for the attention.
It reads and sends fine but the lockouts are not working properly in non conventional systems.
Conventional systems work fine.

I suspect it is the operator that is causing the problem.

It could be the BCD996XT, new owner, so it may be something I am doing wrong.
These systems were all locked out from FreeScan last night.(ARC will NOT lock them at all)

I am running GPS, and the GPS is unlocking some systems, maybe wrong GPS data for the systems causing this. Just wondering what is going on.

If I lock them all in ARC and send them, then flush ARC and open clean & read they are all open without ever connecting the GPS unit or going mobile.

Sorry Gommert, I have just done several tests and it worked fine.
I do think in my haste to load and setup I have bad GPS data and when I go mobile it unlocks these systems then downloads them as unlocked when I know I uploaded them locked.

I thought I had it down after having a 246 for 5 years, but the depth of the 996 has overwhelmed my
Z80 brain. Guess I need an upgrade.(brain that is)

I will investigate and see if I can fix it and verify.
Sorry for the Doh! freakout.

Thanks for your response

Problem (abUSER) resolved!

Problem resolved.
Gommert I am sorry for the false alarm.
ARC works fine ...if you (I) know how to use it.

I was not taking the time to verify the actual GPS data. I just ASSuMEd it was correct.(RR has me spoiled)
After using your excellent GPS utility and putting in the correct address for each group, everything works perfect.

Bit of a hairpin learning curve on the 996 for me, even though I have had a 246 for years, and 2 BCT15X's for a few weeks. All the extra digital stuff blew my mind.

Hopefully this will help others in the future that do what I did .

Sorry for the false alarm
