Looks like Butel released their ARC396-Basic this morning - but nothing on the ARC396-Pro. I preordered the ARC396-Pro a few months ago and i would like to know how far off are they with it. These are my concerns:
  • If ARC396-Pro is going to be another few weeks, will it be possible to get a Key for the ARC396-Basic as it has the System Configurations and Tone-Out programming capability as the Beta does not.
  • I downloaded the ARC396-Basic, installed it as a trial version and looked at the tone-out settings - it still has an area to put in the timings for the tones - will this be updated in the release of ARC396? Will this affect programming of the Tone-Out on the lastest firmware of the BCD396T?
Overall, i'm impressed with the ARC396-Basic. I can't wait until the pro version comes out. I just think it's silly to have ARC396-Basic, Beta, and Uniden's UASD installed just to program one scanner.

Quote from our post in the Software forum:

"ARC396-PRO will be available next week."

If you purchased ARC396-PRO you can still use the 0.900 Beta release.

Later firmware releases will ignore the Tone-out 'duration' settings.
