ARC500PRO Virtual Lockup

I am running a Windows XP Pro 2002 Service Pack 3, on a Panasonic toughbook CF-29.
Using ARC500PRO 1.14 build 3 full version.
I can upload and download to PSR-500 with no issues
When I select virtual control, it works for 3 seconds and then locks up. I have to crash out to exit.
Any suggestions?

I found the problem, I reinstalled the USB Link driver, restarted the machine, and everything works good now!

I am still having lockup problems when selecting virtual control. I have since uninstalled ARC500PRO, with no help. I am having the same issue with my PSR 500 and 600.
I also have tried both transfer cables, the older version, and the new version.
Open to any suggestions.

Im having a similar problem to this. I use the vitural control on Win500 and it runs fine showing everything at the right time. However I also have ARC500 Pro to see how it works and when I use the vitural control it runs very very slowly, it shows the radio id and frequency after they are already done and my scanner continues to scan. Is there a reason as to why it runs so slow on the vitural control or what?

Make sure that the Control channel dump option is off in the scanner. That will slow down the communication in ARC500.

I will give this a try, it is funny, ARC500Pro works great with Dump checked on my old laptop running Windows Tablet PC. It is a toshiba Portege.

try updating your computer and usb drivers that might do the trick

I already did that, even removed and reinstalled all USB drivers and software. No change. I will be trying the dump cc method...

Unchecking CCDump resolved my issue.
