Greetings I’ve just got a chance to look over all the updates to the data base that happened over the last few days and I have to say way to go and thank you on the labeling for the San Luis Valley for the Alamosa Regional Communications Center aka ARCC. I just have a few miss labels and some additions I would like to see put up to the database, admins and any one interested in the valley stuff.
First I noticed Alamosa So placed in with ARCC 3 witch was the case till a couple of mouths ago when they were assigned their own talk group, the one listed in the data base, they are no longer dispatched on ARCC 3.
Second is ARCC 5 formerly Alamosa FD. This Channel is for valley wide FD and Ems dispatch and is currently utilized by Alamosa Ems, Alamosa FD, Conejos EMS, Conejos FD, Costilla EMS, Mosca Hooper FD and Baca Grande FD and EMS.
Third is the ARCC 2 is assigned to Alamosa Pd with Adams State College Police Department operating on this channel too.
On another valley related note The Dispatch Center in Monte Vista is closing and is moving its agencies to ARCC also, unknown If any changes will be made to their talk groups. here is the link to the article Home
