ARMER Duluth area MSP talk groups

Does anyone have any talk groups for the Duluth Mn area or really anything more than listed her on RR.

I have MSP Virgina as Uniden 36564 Dispatch,36566,36594.

Does anyone know what Uniden 740 is? Sounds like DNR ?

I am going to Duluth does anyone have MSP Duluth, St. Louis SO or Duluth PD, other thank whats listed here on RR.

I am on vacation up here in North East Minnesota and any information would be greatly appreicated.

Nothing local has switched over to ARMER system yet. Maybe try it in the Open/Wildcard receive mode to see what you can get.

The DB has Duluth MSP district dispatch on t/g 36500...But I can't verify it since I won't be there on Vacation until August 5th.

Most of the local stuff I believe is still analog. Although the Duluth Police/St.Louis County Sheriff as well as Lake County(Two Harbors) are simulcasting on ARMER. The State Patrol is on ARMER. The county and city stuff I believe will fully transition to the state system in 2013.

Database is correct. Carlton County should be patched on TG37101.

I believe Lake County is actually using 800 radios somewhat, along with being patched in.

But as mentioned before, always use TG search when monitoring ARMER in NE Minnesota.

ARMER 9600 baud Itasca County Simulcast

I was in Grand Rapids the other day and tried to listen to the Itasca County TRS. I have two Home Patrols and tried to get the control channel so I could run the DISCOVERY and ANALYZER Modes, but wasn't able to lock on. I have been told because it is a simulcast the HP has a very hard time decoding the audio. Is there anything I can do to make it work ? Some settings, a better antenna or what ?

When I was down in the Twin Cities I was picking up everything crystal clear, but for some reason I couldn't get much on the Itasca County Simulcast System unless I moved to different areas of the city and what is more puzzling is when I was in the Itasca area last summer my 396xt could pick up almost every where except my cabin. I put up an out side antenna, yagi you name it and nothing would work. When I went to Grand Rapids the 396 worked like a charm. Now with the HP it is back to hit and miss to get the system to come in.

Would a GRE pick up better ?

Any help out there would be greatly appreciated,
