Anyone know how to program this into a scanner? The frequency is 458.8250, but when I put it in, I only get the cars, not the dispatch desk. Anyone have any idea why?

458.825 is the input frequecy the output frequency is 453.825. The cars transmit to the repeater on 458.825 and dispatch and the repeater transmit on 453.825.Rmin1 said:

That's what it says in the database. I'm too far away to try it, but the first freq. listed in the database is the repeater output and the freq listed as INPUT is the repeater input freq.Rmin1 said:

it doesn't appear to be working in my pro-96, a friend of mine put in his scanner, which is a uniden, and its working fine...I am still learning this scanner.

Make sure you have the channel mode set to FM. CT and DC, even if in SEARCH mode, will not work.
I now think it was Rutherford which I was receiving on 453.825 a few days ago on my Pro-2096. I've been monitoring that Fx in carrier squelch to see if Lawrence (Mercer County) still uses it at all.

Rutherford is indeed using P25 - 453.825 - loud and clear in Elmwood Park.

OK I was mistaken, I admit it, let's move on
Signal Report... 5X5 in Harrison ( Hudson County ) So for in the clear. Let's watch that's how Kearny PD started, One day in the clear and the next day the Police Chief has a bright idea !
