Has anyone else noticed Atlantic Air being dispatched on NorthStar tg 26832? I heard a call for Atlantic Air go out over tg 26832 for a call in Clinton Twp.

I know that the Department of Health changed the dispatch criteria a few days ago.

The new rule is closest ship goes. The only exception is if the state and non-state ships are less then five miles apart, then state ship goes.

This is a good thing.

All the private ships are dispatched by REMCS for on-scene responses. They always have been. The ships also talk to their own dispatch centers.

All medevacs in nj are dipatched by remcs on either northstar or southstar talk groups and then their own frequencies (if nessicary).
