Attn: "Northwest WI Emergency Ops" Feed Owner

Greetings all,

Looking for any status updates to this feed. I know that last year when I posted this same inquiry that the feed owner said it was going to be "active" only during emergency situation. I know that NW WI has had several severe weather episodes since then (Including a few I personally chased) and this feed wasn't active. At this moment there is a Severe T-Storm watch for area and feed isn't active.

I would love to see this area have a police/fire feed. Any help with this??

Counties that RR-Live feeds that appear to be missing are Washburn, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer, Barron and Chippewa Counties

Washburn has a full time dedicated feed for Fire/EMS. I believe a Sheriff Digital one is coming soon.

The problem with the Northwest WI Emergency Ops feed the other night is there was no power where the servers are housed during the entire event. I had enough battery backup to sustain a half hour with the Fire/EMS feed and that was about it. Power was out for close to 6 hours.

I will be tuning it up the Emergency Feed up within a month to a "Full Time" status with just MARC 1 - 4, WISPERN, POINT, and other emergency frequencies. I am going to have tags broadcasted with it as well.

This way, it'll just sit live no matter what, and it will have the alpha tags so you know what emergency channel's audio is coming acrossed.
