Atv accicent in putnam co. 8/21/2011

ATV accident in Putnam County around 1:49AM ON Sunday 8/21/2011 at 12400 South State Road 42 involving a Teen riding a ATV that went down into a 6 foot drop off.Putnam County requested Operation Life along with Fire and was requesting Air Evac. Air Evac not able to fly,Person was taken to Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle.The victim was taken out of the 6 foot drop off by a stokes basket and had a backboard in place.The victim could not feel his legs or lower parts of his body.Radio traffic on on Safe-t Talkgroup 5216.

Update on Sunday 8-21-2011 5:16PM. Victim of the ATV accident was taken by gound ambulance to Putnam Memorial Hospital in Greencastle and then sent to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.by ground ambulance.
