Very sad... I'm sorry the drunk took her with him.

AURORA – A man and a woman are dead following a head-on crash on Interstate 225 early Saturday morning.
Aurora Police say the crash occurred just before 2 a.m. when 24-year-old Luis Javier Gomez driving a green Toyota Celica went the wrong way on the southbound lanes of I-225 just north of East 6th Avenue.
Police say he traveled at least 2 miles at 55 miles per hour in the wrong direction.
"I would assume at this point at 2 o'clock in the morning when the driver's driving two miles on the wrong side of the road with cars coming at him, there's either drugs or alcohol involved," said Lt. Troy Edwards, Aurora Police.
Authorities say Gomez nearly hit six other cars before colliding head-on with a blue Jeep Cherokee driven by 22-year-old Lisa Swisher who was traveling southbound.
"Miss Swisher, actually from witness statements, sort of got stuck when cars weaved to get around him," Lt. Edwards said. "She had nowhere else to go."
Both drivers, who were the only occupants in their cars, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Swisher just finished her tour of duty with the Marine Corp in August. "Trying to figure out exactly what she was going to do for the rest of her life," said her father Rodney Swisher.
Lisa joined the service following in the footsteps of her older sister. "In fact, I tried to talk her out of the Marines, cause I didn't think she was cut out for it," said Rodney. "But, she showed me wrong."
Lisa just celebrated her sister's wedding two weeks ago and was headed back from the National Western Stock Show when she died.
"She was fun-loving and tried to make other people that she was around and with that they have a good time and make them happy," Rodney said. "We didn't expect this. You never expect this is going to happen to your family. It's always going to be somebody else's."
Investigators say they suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash, but are awaiting toxicology reports for final confirmation.
