Looking for the best set up on my SDS110 for Orange Beach Alabama. Seem to currently be only hearing fire and rescue calls. Looks like the local police are encrypted. Is there any marine monitoring available. Lots of boat traffic in the area.
Make a Favorite List of all the Marine channels and check it out. I believe you can import all of the marine channels at once from Sentinel/RRDB and create your list. Check out the local GMRS/FRS/MURS frequencies. You'll be surprised at what you might hear if you surf a little
It's been about a year since I've been down that way, but Orange Beach PD was in the clear. If they've gone full time E then it needs to be updated in the DB.
I haven't been down there in four years, but Orange Beach was in the clear then. I think Robertsdale was as well. I think Daphne was still on their NXDN system, but they've since moved.
Across the Bay, Mobile PD is encrypted, but last I knew the sheriff wasn't.

I'm gonna try TailGator's recommendation. Pretty as the RRDB shows Orange Beach sheriff is TE. See what I can pick up on TailGator's suggestions.
Thanks to all
Baldwin County sheriff is TE, but Orange Beach Police Dispatch is listed as D (though it should be listed as T since it's Phase II). If you're not hearing Orange Beach PD on the AIRS network, it's possible they may of joined the other nearby cities in using encryption.
The Database shows that the S.O. patches to the NXDN system so you may want to try that as well.
I'm currently scanning strictly AIRS and am getting several sheriff dispatches. Orange Beach being one of them. Along with fire and rescue. No marine traffic though.
