Hi,

Looking for a simple chart, simple being the operative word, that shows
which bands/freq's are USB, LSB, AM, FM, etc.

The following was suggested:

http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Regulatory/Band Chart/Band Chart - 11X17 Color.pdf

But the KEY and graphics do not appear to show LSB, eg.
It's probably all there, but I don't see it.
That old age thing again, I guess.

Can someone please either walk me thru it, and show how to discern from it
what I want, or suggest a clear chart from somewhere that shows it "all" easily.

Thanks,
Bob

With respect to voice comms - except on our 5 Mhz channels, where everything is USB, 10 Mhz and below use LSB, it's USB above that. There's a little FM (not the broadcast kind) from 29.6 to 29.7 Mhz (10 meter repeaters and simplex are found here). See this page for a quick summary

Digital - well that's a question that I can't answer, because it currently seems to be a free for all. I haven't been able to keep up with all the new modes and set asides for frequencies. Just take Olivia as an example...

Hi,

Good hint re the Nifty book.
Will probably get it.

Funny how much more expensive it is at Amazon relative to direct
ordering from the Nifty folks.

Thanks for suggestion,
Bob
