For info, the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) P25 system has been added to the DB. This system is for underground use only, and is currently only used for interoperability by first responders.

They’re still on EDACS for the time being. I believe this system has been around for years, it just hasn’t been submitted because it’s a low-power underground only system. The EDACS system will eventually be upgraded to P25 Phase II, but not for a while.

From my sources, the P25 Core has been around for years, but the RF sites above ground did not have P25 equipment. Most, if not all, of sites, now have RF fixed site equipment upgraded and subscriber radios have been upgraded as well.

Keep an eye on any new talkgroups on the P25 system in addition to the ones already in the database. The existing voice frequencies on the EDACS system will be slowly migrated to the P25 system.
