Hi. I have a 396xt that takes 3 rechargeable aa batteries as u all may know lol. I am currently going to use 3 Ansmann brand 2850mah aa rechargeable batteries when i charge them soon. I use an EBL RM-72 smart battery charger/discharger. I got both batteries and charger on amazon. I use the ebl charger for other things/batteries as well. Ansmann seller recommend that i discharge these 3 2850mah batteries with the ebl charger monthly. Is there any other charger to charge them after discharging them? Just wanna make sure that 1 hour will be enough time to charge them.to 100%

if you charge a battery in an hour you are really doing it harm.
my older maha c-9000 will take about 90 minutes for my 2500mah cells at 1 amp charge. and that is pushing it.
many folks recommend 1/10 cell capacity for charging.
so 250mah and not 2.0amps

I use a charger from Ikea that charges each battery individually up to 12 at a time. I have had no problems with EBL 2300mAh batteries in the 3 or 4 years I have used this combination.

i live in Florida, lightning capital of the U.S. so my radio (396T) is always on batteries.
and i ty to run the 396XT the same way.
and that is my other reason for not plugging stuff in.
