I know most of Calhoun Co. is going digital, but what about Battle Creek PD's Channel 4 (156.105) used with Battle Creek Emergency Services. Is that frequency still going to be used, or are they abandoning that frequency also?

It is a good frequency to listen to for weather reports.

I'd only heard that law enforcement would be encrypted - are you saying all Calhoun Co ops will be encrypted?
