I hear it all the time from some of the officers. They should have listened to the MSP when they were told it was a faulty system. But, I doubt they can go back to the old system, can they? Aren't all agencies supposed to be on 800mHz by 2008?

what is the issue with their system? dead spots or is it an equipment setup problem? that sucks...

The issue is digital use without enough towers... You'll see plenty of info on this in the MI forum.

It is not correct that all agencies need to be digital now, or any time in the next decade...

there is no requirement for any agency to change to 800 MHz ever.
