Anyone know of any good 800mhz stubby antenna's ?

Also does anyone know if their is a way to use any of the 800mhz stubby antenna's used on the motorola radio's on the scanner (is there an adapter for attachment) ?

mtindor, thanks for the info I think I'll do that to √ out the adapter first.

Does anyone know if other than the connection, does it make any difference if an 800mhz stubby antenna is for a radio or scanner ?

No it doesn't make a difference. You can use any antenna for 800 mhz that is rated to work there. All you are concerned about is reception. So as long as its an 800 mhz antenna and you can connect it to your scanner, you're good to go.

Have you ever heard of the ANTENEX Antenna's ?
I was told (by another poster) that the ANTENEX #DEXC806BNX was a good stubby in the 800mhx range.
It says it has a BNX connection ? is that the same type that will connect to the BNC ?
