On my old Pro95, I was able to get the UHF military airband. It wasn't listed in the official range of frequencies covered, but using the win95 software I was able to program the frequencies and listen to them.
I'm wondering if the same is possible on the 246T? I used the ARC246 to program in the UHF frequencies, but so far I haven't been able to pick anything up. Is there an actual physical limitation of the hardware?
I realize this may have been covered before but I wasn't able to pull up much in the archives.
Thanks!
