BC246T Replacement?

Just trying to get up to speed on the latest portable scanners. Im looking at the BC246T as a scanner that would fit my needs. I live in Bergen County, NJ so not much need for digital/trunking etc. The BC246T was introduced back in 2004. Is there a replacement coming soon or do they keep these models out for many years? If something newer was on the horizon, I may hold off for now and wait. Id hate to buy one this month and find out that a newer/better model was due out later this year. Thanks.

You might want to look into a BR330T. Uniden no longer makes them, but a few dealers still have them in stock. Many people would probably agree that its one of the best non-digital scanners you can get.
