Hello Everyone,

I have a BC296D. I have a new battery for the scanner but do not want to charge the battery in the scanner. I purchased a MAHA MH-C777-Plus II charger to try this. I need some ideas on how to connect the battery pack to the charger. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

The easiest way is to take a razor blade and cut two small holes in the plastic battery cover to expose the connection where the wires are soldered to the batteries. You can then set the height and spacing of the pickup contacts and slide the battery against the pickup contacts. If you get an Error 1 then switch the polarity switch on the front of the charger. Also make sure you set the battery type correctly and use the magnetized heat sensor.

If you need any further info let me know.

Regards,

Doug
