BC346XT Programming???

When I program a system, ie. CHP. I also get a system that goes along with it, ie. System 13 C. Is it safe to delete the alternate system (System 13 C). Or does the scanner need this. I assign a QK to the named system, but am curious if deleting the other one that came with it is OK. I hope this question is clear enough. I haven't read anything in the manual that answers this question. Thanks!!!

If I understand correctly, it sounds as though you may be getting the system itself confused with the group (if it is a conventional system), or confused with the site (if it is trunked). You need both, and you can rename 13C to whatever you want (I often use the same tag on both and I even include the system quick key number to make it easy to remember). Hope this helps.
