Is there such a thing as a PCI card with Ethernet + serial connections?

My motherboard is too crowded to use more than one PCI card and I need the Ethernet adapter for the broadband.

If there isn't such a thing, is there any other way to connect the BC898T to the computer? An adapter that really works with Uniden, for instance.

I can program the scanner manually, but you know how it is, using software is easier.

Thanks~

Mike is right on the USB-to-serial adapter. But...if you have a new computer with Win7 in it then you need to make sure that the adapter you buy has drivers that work with Win7. I bought a new computer with Win7 - 64bit and most of the adapters I looked at didn't list 64 bit drivers on their web sites.

I have both XP and 7. Found a "Cables Unlimited" package card among the odds and ends of parts on hand but no adapter. Seem to remember trying this adapter, it must not have worked for me or I was doing something wrong.

I would be using WinXP as I haven't mastered the weirdness of 7 yet.

Guess I could give the adapter another try though - and make notes this time.

Thanks for the help~
