P.S. To turn ON/OFF Close Call on that radio, press Func button (should be on the side) and then press the CC symbol key on the front keypad once. the CC symbol looks like a little c inside of a crosshair. On my BC246T its the "HOLD" button. So it should be the same for your 92XLT...

Press FUNC (on side) and then while holding FUNC in press HOLD. This toggles it on and off....

And I never ever implied that his question was not warranted. I just like to point out that if someone just simply types what they're looking for in google they'll most likely find it. But I did follow up with not only that, but also provided the direct link to his manual, and then explained how to do the very thing he wanted the look up in the manual.
