bcd 396T antenna ?

hello i,am new to scanning i asked a freind whats a good one to get here i am i would like to no what kind of base antenna would i need wasaga beach ont. and moble one for my car . MID priced please THANK YOU JOE.

For my mobile setup, I ordered the Maxrad BMAXSCAN1000S from www.randl.com for about $30. Seems to work decently well on all bands for me. It's fairly short and stealthy on an SUV. You'll need an NMO type mount for this one, either a thru hole mount or mag mount (if you're not into drilling holes in your vehicle).

For a base setup, I'd recommend a wideband discone type as these tend to have good reception across the spectrum.

well got comet ds150s for my base today and for mobile workman ks 3-sma what an inprovement it,s clear still have to put base on roof some how any sudguestions like how long pipe . where it wood be best. joe.
