Please forgive if this has been covered before.
ie change steps in civ airband to 10 Khz + others as required outside USA
Change default settings or is this a firmware issue

Do a custom search and you can put in the 10khz step. It probably is a firmware issue but using the custom search you can get around it.

I've also wondered how to change steps in the Service Searches. I don't believe there's a way to do it. It's stupid how when you search the ham bands, doesn't do 10 meters, 23 centimeters, or 33 centimeters, and when it does 2 meters, it uses some skanky 15 kHz tuning step which could skip someone on simplex or an unusual repeater freak

I also do custom searches.

Lookslike we are stuck with it until a firmware tweak comes along.
