BCD396T/996T Talkgroup Patch

Hello group,

I am scanning a Motorola Type II system that has a talkgroup patch activated for an incident this morning.

The talkgroups patched are 16528 and 22448.

On my 996XT (and my system radio) I am able to hear both sides of the conversation on either talkgroup. However on my 396T and 996T only 16528 is ever active and 22448 is completely quiet!

I have the tried switching the status bit to 'on' and then 'ignore' with no joy. Tried talkgroup search and no audio is ever heard on 22448. Is this normal for the 396T/996T for one side of the patched talkgroups to be completely silent?

Seems very odd... 22448 is an interop talkgroup and if I hadn't been aware of the incident, I would not be hearing any traffic on it, seems like it has been hijacked by 16528

The 396T and 996T won't handle patched talkgroups.

Thanks! Don't know how I missed those threads during my search. Until today, because of my new 996XT, I didn't realize I was missing anything.
