I have the BCD396T and have some questions. I have read where the newest firmware doesn't decode the digital audio very well. My question is, when others mention that its not decoding well, does this cover the lag in decoding at the start (pre-clipping), and the signal dropping out if the transmitting party pauses without unkeying? Also, the AGC settings, I notice lots of variation in the audio level even just between two parties on the same talkgroup. This occurs mainly on the digital, the analog seems to hold fairly level.
Thanks, Ryan

Try in the Wiki for the 396 audio settings it's well explained & should help.
