BCD396T Programming

Guy's I recently got rid of my BCD996T and aquired a BCD396T handheld. I like the portability of it and it seems close enough to the 996T as in features however I am stuck at a bit here. I used to log in to this site and download into the 996T Butel software and I now have the 396T software the systems I wanted to load. Using ARC996T it used to give you a choice of Trucked or conventional. The ARC396 looks very similar but is missing the conventional option and I am not able to D/L the Texas DPS system into the 396T as I had done in the 996T. I remember in the ARC996 having to choose the conventional option to find the DPS to send it to the radio. The ARC396T has neither choice Trunked/Conventional. I just choose State and County and DPS does not come up in EL PASO, TX El Paso County. I can search in RR and find the DPS but I want to be able to U/L it into the radio. It was a P25 system. Any help would be appreciated.

At the top of the screen, try Internet > RadioReference > (choose)

I did that Jay but it does not give me a choice to choose conventional. I think I'm going to send an e-mail to butel. Thanks... I apprecaite your reply though.

The Software was old Jay... I updated to the v2 and the option appeared. Thanks for jarring my memory. I was getting ready to e-mail support when I thouht I better check for an update.
