BCD396T vs Pro 96 Scanner

I want info on which scanner you guys think is better for Digial scanning for digital freqs. The Uniden BCD396T or the Radio Shack Pro 96?

I want to see what you guysbefore i go out and buy one

Largely a matter of opinion, you will hear arguments on both sides. I have both of these myself. Digital decode quality is sometimes a bit better on the PRO-96, if the digital quality is your only deciding factor. However the BCD396T has more features, has more memory/system capacity, is more compact, tracks I-Calls, tracks LTR trunking systems, receives mil air frequencies, and trunk tracks in the new 700MHz public safety band. Just some things to consider before you buy.

On the Pro 96 scanner when i monitor the digital freqs at the end it makes a hissing sound then goes off like a fiz noise. is that normal?
