$375 seems like a good price for a BCD436HP. That's only about $6 more than a BCD325P2.

NOT a great price as the 436HP was $353.64 the last week of FEB 2020. The 536HP was $403 that week and I bought one from Amazon. You can check any past prices on Amazon on this website: Amazon price tracker, Amazon price history charts, price watches, and price drop alerts.

Yet, as you look at the price history for the past 6 months, $375 is quite low. I'd go for it before the price shoots up again.

I just ordered mine from Amazon - it will arrive on April 11th, which seems like a lifetime to wait, LOL. I live in Minnesota, so will be looking for a group to associate with there....73s to everyone!

Ordered my 436HP yesterday and it says it will arrive April 12th. She'll replace my 780XLT and 80XLT.

In Canada that 325 was $500. Post-Covid, magically $725, 225 MORE than a 436. Go figure? So Bearcat warehouse is best.

No. The 436 has a lot more memory; you can program it with every licensed radio system in North America. The database that comes with it does exactly that.
