I recently purchased a BCD996P2 with DMR and NXDN upgrades and it's working great.
The only issue I have at this point is...
Weather the scanner is in ID Search or ID Scan, I can see the group ID numbers but I'd rather see the name of the group I'm Receiving.
The system in particular is the Chautauqua County, NY P25P2 system with Simulcast as imported with ProScan via RadioReference.
What am I doing wrong?

Program an Alpha Tag for the talkgroups.
It appears that they are...for example...
Group 1 is Law Enforcement the list seen is : TGID Name CC LE Dispatch TGID 8000
There are 6 items listen with names and IDs.
All 6 show None in the Number tag column.

While scanning a trunked system, the top line of the display shows the site name. If the scanner stops on a talkgroup or you hold on a talkgroup, the top line will alternate between the site name and group name. You have 100 system quick keys available for sites and systems and 10 group quick keys available per system. If you assign system quick keys to systems and sites and group quick keys to groups, you can tell which systems, sites, and groups are enabled by looking at the 2 bottom lines of the display. Here is a PDF file which will answer all of your questions about using quick keys.
