BCD996P2 programming help

I'm new to scanners and recently bought a BCD996P2 and am having issues programming it to Oxford, NC. I've attempted to put it in manually and using the free scan software. When I used the Software I was only able to pick up Granville EMS, but no other county or city channels. When I select Granville county and Viper the only options are Oxford Bi-com and Oxford WT under sites & Groups, neither of which seem to work. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

what software are you using, where do you live, what are you trying to listen to, is the system use encrypted or have encrypted talk groups which cant be decoded or monitored, you get the idea.

I can confirm Granville County Law, Fire, and EMS are not encrypted, they are all on the Viper system. From where I live, I get most traffic on the Butner and Youngsville sites.

You can easily verify this info before chiming in by simply looking at the database, the OP gave enough info to go by:

@longsb98 : Welcome to the RR forums. There are 3 additional sites listed for your county aside from the ones you mentioned so unknown why the others won't show up for you. Perhaps one or more of these are close to you?

Think OP pretty much answered all your questions before they were asked. I think @hiyudurin & @Whiskey3JMC answered him, OP needs to be using VIPER not the channels under the county listing.
