I use the Sentinel software to program my BCD436HP scanner. I have a bunch of favorite lists created. My question is when I perform a master database update do I need to delete my favorite lists and recreate them again using the new updated database? I am not sure if they are automatically updated when the database is updated. Obviously if no changes are made to the systems I have programmed in my favorite lists then no updates are needed. But if my systems have changes with the new database version will my favorite lists be updated that is the question. How do other users keep their favorites updated when updating the database?

Short answer: No, database updates do not touch your Favorites Lists.

As far as updating the FL's, I update each of my FL's roughly annually, on a staggered schedule. (I don't update them all at the same time.) I append systems to the FL, and then delete the previous versions.
