Hey all,

I just received a BCT15 for Xmas and have no idea what I am doing with this thing... just wondering if any out there has it all programmed for WNY and woudl be willing to send me the cloing information or if anyone can give me a hand in getting this thing set up... for a newbie this owners manual has me baffled.

thanks

Hey Docdave...Welcome to RadioReference.com and to the world of scanning. If I understand your requests correctly, you should post your question in 2 separate forums. To find the information specific to the BCT15 post your questions in the Uniden Forum where you should get the answers to the "How To" questions about the scanner. To get answers pertaining to frequencies specific to your area of monitoring besides the State (New York in your case) you should also give the County and City/Town. Also are you interested in Police, Fire, Public Works etc.
So I hope this gets you started and you are in the right place to get the answers you need.
Happy Holidays and a Healthy New Years to You & Yours.

There's a web site that covers the southern tier of NY and northern PA. It has a lot of usd files for the Uniden scanners, many of which you would find useful in your area. (NYSP etc..)

There are quite a few nationwide usd files there as well.

FreqFreaks.com
Radio Programming Files » Uniden Scanner Files

Also, if you haven't checked out the BCT15 Scanner Yahoo group, you may find that helpful.
