BCT15X Channel Tag

How do you tune directly to a channel using the channel tag thats programmed to it?

Excellent. Thanks for the quick reply.
Im having an issue with control channel only scanning with the 15X. How do I turn it off? I have a 15 and an X and both are showing finding control channel. I programmed the 15 yesterday and it was working fine until today. I just programmed the X and I cant figure out how to turn off control channel only. Im using Proscan to program the scanners.

There is no other scanning mode for Motorola trunked systems. "Finding Control Channel" means that the scanner cannot receive a control channel on any of the frequencies programmed for the system.

When I use proscan with the bct15 there is a check box for control only. On the 15X its not there. My 15 was working fine last night but now Im getting the finding control channel message. I was just programming the 15X for the first time when I got the same message on that one.

I would suspect that something has changed on the system (like they've moved to an undocumented alternate control channel or rebanded).

Without knowing which system, tough to make better guesses.
