best antenna

my scanner is PSR282 200 Channel Scanner
Manufacturer: GRE

what antenna would improve my reception? other than the rubber duck it came with? would a loft antenna improve on a hand held scanner? though im after a ant that fits on to my handheld, its a BNC

i'll give you 2 generic responses, #1 what frequencies do you listen to? #2 use the search function as much as you can

There isn't an antenna out there that will boost your reception in every band your scanner can recieve so you have to narrow it down considerably, or buy multiple antennas.

I personally own the RS 800mhz(best i've found for 800mhz), an Austin Condor(not bad all around antenna but very bulky and ugly), a Diamond RH77ca(good for VHF lo/hi and UHF), and the stock antennas which are trash imo.
