Best "Stubby" Antenna for the 396?

I'm looking to ditch the stock antenna that came with the 396, but still want to be able to recieve all bands. I am hoping to find an antenna shorter than the stock that can do this and hopefully even improve my reception. Any thoughts?

i dont think you will be able to do this, but if you do find a way to pull it off, im sure it wont improve your reception from the stock antenna,
