Bias-Tee current through PolyPhaser protector?

I'm mulling the idea of putting a couple of pre-amps at my antennas, powered via bias-tees. Does anybody know whether PolyPhaser protectors will pass the DC current?

My preference would be to put the bias-tees to the inside of my entry panel. Typically I've used the IS-B50HN-C2, which mentions a DC block, but I'm unclear whether that is just incoming or both directions.

Thanks,
Matt

DC blocking means just that...all DC current is blocked in either direction.

PolyPhaser Coaxial Lightning Protectors use a DC blocked specially configured gas tube design that has no DC continuity between the two center pins. PolyPhaser's multi-strike products are designed to pass RF frequencies and block all DC.

Polyphaser does make some DC pass through products. They cost a couple bucks more, but should work for you. It looks like they have separate ones based on the DC voltage used, so make sure you select the right one.

Yeah, I've used them for GPS antennas used on our network. I have to pass 5 volts DC up the coax to the antenna. PolyPhaser has what you need.
