Both VP and Second Gentleman visiting SC today.

At 11:30 AM ET, the Second Gentleman will be at Kounter in Rock Hill, SC, before going to Charlotte, NC.

At 12:15 pm ET, the Vice President will depart Washington, DC en route to Columbia, SC.
At 1:40 pm ET, the Vice President will arrive at Columbia Metropolitan Airport.
At 3:30 pm ET, VP meets with local community and faith leaders in Orangeburg, SC
At 5:00 pm ET, VP has campaign event in Orangeburg, SC
At 6:40 pm ET, the Vice President will depart Columbia, SC

Previously when President Biden came to Orangeburg and had flown into CAE, the original plan was to take a helicopter to Orangeburg from CAE but weather did not allow. Perhaps the VP will take helo today?

I was driving eastbound on I-26 around 5:15 and all westbound traffic was shut down by police, I'm going to assume that was because of a motorcade for VP.

Yes they did a rolling roadblock. SCHP is getting quite skilled at these VIP visits. We’ve had quite a bit of them in SC recently. Trump will be in Columbia later this month.
