I just bought a 330 t and would like too know what the bes software too program this scanner and where can i add the programing for montreal police and more arports can someone just tell me what the program that would be easy for me too work with cause i never this before thank you

I use UASD software from Uniden. It does everything I need it to do. I believe ARC330 has more features (and a higher price). If you plan to try to import a lot of info then I'd lean toward ARC330. If you want to build your systems yourself then UASD will probably be just fine.

I'm pretty sur ethere are trial versions of both out there if you want to try before you buy.

You can find the SPVM airport unit on this system:

The western SPVM divison channel, on the 400 mhz, is linked with a 800 mhz frequency on the airport site. So, they got 3 channels:

1- Operations (so the dispatcher can give them some calls) - Conventionnal rpt
2- Airport operation (communications between them) - RSP EDACS trunking
3- Tactical (oh, mostly used for blabla... !) - RSP EDACS trunking

You have to listen to the RSP no 2 sys, when you are near the airport.

www.bctool.org - still in beta but worth to download and try, it is freeware but works fantastic
