I've got about 15 groups in one system. Is there any way of setting and selecting group quick keys over 9 (and 0)?

The manual just confuses me, so don't tell me to go read it, pleeeease? :D

It looks like you may be (at least partially) out of luck. You can have 99 systems, but only 10 Quick Keys per system. There are two work arounds that I can think of: 1 Split your system into two systems, both assigned to different System Quick Keys. You can then select the 1/2 system and turn the Group Quick Keys on or off. (You might be able to assign both Systems to the same System Quick Key, but I'm not sure if that would work for you.) The other idea is to assign more than one group to a Group Quick Key. If you listen to the same groups at the same place or time this could be an easy answer.

Quick Keys (QK) are keys that let you quickly select a system or group of systems. You can assign multiple systems to the "same key", giving you the same functionality of combining trunked and conventional systems into one bank on banked scanners.

This is an item that Uniden clearly needs to address. Only 10 group quick keys within a system is totally inadequate for any medium to large trunking system. If they would go to 99 group quick keys, using the same mechanism they have in place now for selecting any of the 99 systems, it would go a long way to help maximize use of these dynamic scanners.

The next thing Uniden needs to address is the ability to define more than 200 TGIDs per system ...

Off my soapbox, for now ...

Well aware of that cut and paste, thanks.

I want to keep the groups seperate which is why I haven't combined them.

For now what I've done is just split the system up into two. It's clumsy but it works.

Thanks for the replies guys
