As of Monday night - Uniden 3967T Scanner no longer getting OPP Bracebridge/Muskoka. Anyone know what happened? Still receiving EMS in this area.

Which talkgroups do you have programmed in your scanner?

They may be on

• 2OPS27 talkgroup 8640
• 2OPS29 talkgroup 8672
• 2OPS41 talkgroup 8944

Thanks for response. I did not programme the scanner myself. I have been using 2OPS41 and 48. 48 went down today. Likely I will have to return to store where I purchased scanner. I did call them - they are unaware of any problem in this area. have all their channels programmed.

Are you scanning or just holding on the talkgroup? If one of those talkgroups gets patched to another talkgroup you may not hear anything, depending on which group is the 'super group'.

Why dont you put in by hand if you have to all the relevant talkgroups for the area, the 396T series of scanners will show only one of the patches so if your talkgroup is patched with another talkgroup enter both in.

why not put it in ID SEARCH mode (funch scan) and see what comes up.. youll get more then you need but as long as u didnt LOCK OUT the channel you want to listen to you should be okay

Your suggestion worked - thanks. I just didn't understand why the 'programmed' talk group I've listened to for a year suddenly went dead. Guess it's a learning process for this 'senior'. Thanks again.
