I know Brantford City Police is on a Pro Voice system but i heard them on the weekend chasing someone on foot and and officer talking on their portable radio in the 155.mhz range.. is this common? if so what other frequencies do they use? it was either 155.505 or 155.535, could this be an image frequency? let me know, thanks, Vance

Are you sure it was them. And not signals coming across the lake?

Those sound like the common police frequency range in the States.

The freq seem valid for that range..just did a quick database search but all I got for those freqs were Manitoulin and Peterborough area. Is it possible its a mobile-car or analog repeater or something?

Maybe someone can TAFL the freqs
