BRECKENRIDGE – A snowboarder from Kansas was killed on a snowboard run at Breckenridge Ski Resort Sunday.

The details surrounding the death are unclear, although we do know it happened before 2 p.m. in the Park Lane Terrain Park.

The Breckenridge Ski Patrol transported the 33-year-old man to the Breckenridge Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The resort says the snowboarder was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

In a release, the Breckenridge Ski Resort, the Breckenridge Ski Patrol and Vail Resorts extended "sympathy and support to all of his the family and friends."

Do you know the news source?

I know the Denver news channel has it similarly.

Who stole whose news release?

If this was a repost of KUSA's release, they should be given credit when the repost is made - Mick is right.

Conversely, if KUSA stole Jim's release, they should be giving Jim credit instead of one of their own reporters: Colleen Locke , Producer.

Even though I told my self I was NEVER again going to post here, I have to stick up for a friend. Anyone who knows Jim, knows full well how he got the information on this one. I am sure Jim was looking at the very same press release that 9 news was, why make such a big deal out of something so small?

In a release, the Breckenridge Ski Resort, the Breckenridge Ski Patrol and Vail Resorts extended "sympathy and support to all of his the family and friends."
