Does the City of Bremerton provide primary EMS service for the city? Or is it handled by a private EMS company? If it is Bremerton; what frequencies should I be listening for the operations on? Or if private EMS same question. I am new to the area; any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Bremerton Fire provides first response and ALS (Paramedics) to the city. If the call is BLS, that is, Basic Life Support, needing only an EMT for transport, the Brem Fire Medic will send the PT with an Olympic Ambulance BLS unit with responds automaticly, no Lights & Sirens, on most Brem Fire aid calls.
Fire/EMS dispatch is 154.37000. They're dispatched by "CenCom". Fire response is on 155.02500. You'll hear the Oly BLS crew sign on as "BLS" or "BLS Ambulance"
Olympic also has paramedics (I'm one...) But we only do Interfacility ALS transports. A perfect example is a cardiac patinet who stops at the Port Orchard Urgent Care, but needs to be transported by a medic to Harrison in Bremerton. An Olympic Medic will that that patinet,
