Is the Bpt FD using digital or some form of encryption on 154.995 at times? I hear a lot of noise regularly on that frequency although the duration seems a bit long for the usual dispatch/receive cycle. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to this either. Sometimes I'll hear it after a dispatch, sometimes the dispatch is clear but what follows is just noise, sometimes, I only hear a few seconds burst of noise with nothing clear on either side. Any ideas?
