BELLEVUE, Neb. -- A townhouse complex in Bellevue caught fire Thursday morning after a construction crew hit a natural gas line, investigators said.
At about 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Nebraska Drive and Childs Road, emergency officials said, workers were digging to lay a new cable line when they hit the pipe. That sparked a fire, which damaged the outside of a building.
Several units inside sustained smoke and water damage, authorities said.
