what chp office covers ca hwy 108 for sonora to bridgeport ?
i was thinking it might be the Merced office 42.520/42.300 yellow
and the gold on the bridgeport side,
see when 108 opens up we are going to bodie shp, and i like to have the chp on my scanner, also other freq in this area would be helpful

Bridgeport (71) covers 108 beginning at the Mono County line at Sonora Pass. You are correct that they are on the Gold and dispatched by Bishop. On the other side of the county line Sonora (61) is on Yellow and dispatched by Merced.

The Bodie road opened last week and it will probably be sometime in June before the Sonora Pass road opens. On the Tioga Pass road the National Park Service crews are right around 1/2 of the way from Crane Flat to Toiga Pass. On the east side Caltrans is just past Ellery Lake and is at times dealing with 30 foot deepl snowdrifts.

yeah 108 is one snow bound road, excellent drive though,
what frequencies do you recomend for this route, now that i have chp down,
i'd like to get the forest svc and fire, local sherriffs ch's as well

and yes i checked the database but as many of you know there are a lot of freqs that are not in the data base.

light snow , was reported this morning on the chp cad website
at the sonora pass summit,
so no recomended freqs for this area?
