Calgary digital download?

Hey everyone, Im trying to re-program my used pre-programmed BCT396XT, I picked up the USB from scanner master, downloaded and installed freeSCAN, purchased the premium membership to RR. I clicked on the download button on the calgary digital page, and it keeps taking me to the 3 step programming your scanner with the RadioReference Web Service Overview page. Is it that simply one is not avail, or am I missing something?

Are you accessing RR via your program? The last time I downloaded Calgary it was available.

I am not, didnt think thats the way to do it, but ill give it a shot

In FreeSCAN, on (I think) the File menu, go Import>Radioreference.com Trunked. (If I am recalling the menus correctly). Follow the prompts/buttons, navigating to Canada, Alberta, Calgary (county), and then pick "Calgary Digital Radio" from the trunk system menu. From there, you choose which sites/talkgroup groups to import, hit Import, and then Done, and then it's ready to upload into your scanner.

I'll probally be able to anwser my own question in a few hours and I wish I had more to contribute here, because I lurk often for help and general hobbiest information/chit chat.

So your help is very much appreciatated. Im away from the home PC, but I would assume its possible to upload multiple files? Airdre, Calgary, Strathmore, and Cochrane?

Hi,

Yes, it's possible. Each thing you import (download) using FreeSCAN will be a separate system in FreeSCAN and will upload into the scanner the same way.
