Lots of good listening today with the rangers:) Make sure you have these four CC's programmed in: 386.075, 386.55, 388.025, and 388.325. RR only lists three, and you will not hear what's going on. If you have a 500/600-106/197, create a Wildcard Talkgroup object. You will be amazed at what you can monitor:D Uniden scannerheads, use the search mode to get the TGID's. Recommend using a gain 450Mhz antenna.

Thanks, Larry. Presume you have an outside antenna since you're about as far away as I am from Merrill.
Also, where are you looking in the RR database to get the CCs? I looked at Merrill in Lumpkin County and all they had was what must be an older EDACs system listed.

Thanks,
Rick

Rick, look under Muskogee county. Bottom of page, P-25. The TGID's are not listed for Merrill. No, I use a magmount antenna on a 4 drawer file cabinet:) Don't be fooled by "east of the big chiecken". I live in N Gwinnett just south of Lanier. 808 is in Dawson and easy for me to lock onto. I get anywhere between 62-99% receive on the CC. Started monitoring this about 2 years ago on a Pro-96 using Pro96com. One of my very favorite things to do in scanning is to find new stuff to monitor. Been interested in milcoms and fedcoms for almost 20 years. Makes long days short:)
